Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang

Deputy Director of Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC)

Nguyen Hong Thang joined VNNIC in 2000 as one of pioneers of the organization. He was one of the first engineers and played a key role in building many of critical local Internet system such as National DNS system for .VN ccTLD, Vietnam National Internet Exchange point – VNIX, Vietnam National IPv6 Network and got appointed as the Deputy Director of VNNIC since August, 2011.

Thang is a board member of the Vietnam National IPv6 Task Force (VNIPv6TF). He has been actively devoting himself on promotion and deployment of IPv6 in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang

Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang has many years of experience in designing, operating and managing network system as well as security system. Now he is responsible for operating and managing Viet Nam National Internet Exchange system, DNS system, the security system of VNNIC, including national IPv6 network. 

Mr. Aftab A. Siddiqui

Technical Engagement Manager - Asia Pacific 

Internet Society (ISOC)

Aftab Siddiqui joined the Internet Society (ISOC) as a Technical Engagement Manager in November 2016.

Prior to joining ISOC, Aftab worked as an Australian network integrator and at a Pakistani ISP. He has a strong technical and operational background. Mr. Siddiqui has been a key contributor to the global, regional, and local efforts in the APNIC community and has been an active participant in SANOG, APNIC/APRICOT and MENOG for many years. Aftab has increased participation and membership of ICANN's ASO and will be a technical resource to the APAC bureau and a member of the Internet Technology Office, focusing on Deploy360 efforts.

Aftab Siddiqui is located in Sydney Australia.

Mr. Srinivas (Sunny) Chendi

Senior Advisor - Policy & Community Development 

Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) 

Srinivas Chendi is APNIC's Senior Advisor for Policy and Community Development and also Liaison Officer for the South Asia region. He is responsible for supporting the APNIC community in the resource Policy Development Process and enhancing the levels of engagement and participation of the members of the community which APNIC serves. He also manages the South Asia region Liaison role while establishing partnerships with external organizations to encourage latest technical deployments and help the community derive the maximum benefit from developments at APNIC.

Srinivas has worked in a variety of roles at APNIC and elsewhere, including External Relations Manager, Policy Development Manager, Online Services Manager, Internet Resource Analyst, Technical Support Supervisor, and Systems Security Analyst.

Srinivas represents APNIC at an economic and regional level and is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to collaborate with the Asia Pacific community.

Mr. Tran Canh Toan

Tran Canh Toan is an IT Specialist with 12-years experiene in Software Design and Development. Started working at VNNIC since 2009, he is reponsible for Database Administration, Software Security, Big Data Architect in VNNIC. Mr. Matt Jansen

Strategy Manager, Facebook

Matt is Edge Strategy Manager at Facebook responsible for the Asia Pacific region based in Hong Kong. In this role he looks after peering & caching relationships, building and maintaining long term partnerships with the networks in the region helping Facebook to make the world more open and connected. 

Before joining Facebook Matt was Senior Network Architect at Akamai and Peering Manager at Cable&Wireless Worldwide, with a long time focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Mr. Hoang Truong Giang

Engineer of Data Center, FPT Telecom 

Mr. Hoang Truong Giang has many years of experience in network design consultant and network optimization for enterprises and ISPs. After achieving CCIE, he is responsible for developing solutions to optimize the core network of FPT Telecom.

Mr. Hoang Truong has 6-year experince in the issues of IP address and integration network at VNPT and FPT Telecom. He is now reponsible for managing, operating and optimizing IP Core network of VNPT. 

Mr. Louis Poinsignon

Network Engineer

CloudFlare 

Louis has been working at Cloudflare London and San Francisco as a network engineer. He has been building an open-source data collection pipeline with flows and BGP. The tools are currently used everyday internally for anomaly detection and statistics. More recently, Louis was helping securing our security-sensitive services like our DNS servers by deploying RPKI.

Hiroki Kawabata has worked for JPNIC since 2002. Now, he is in charge of managment and promotion of IP address and routing. 

Mr. FUJIMURA Sho

Information Technology Center, Fukuoka University

Mr. Sho FUJIMURA is an Associate Professor at the Information Technology Center, Fukuoka University (AS18148) in Japan. He operates campus network, security systems, virtualization servers and computer labs etc, for which he designed was project manager to introduce the systems. He also operates the public NTP service to the world at the University.

Fukuoka University is one of the most famous public NTP service providers in Japan.
